Patience With Wings

There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. -Romans 5:2-3

This is where I am. Honestly, I looked up the word patience in Scripture and this is what came up. But I sense Jesus saying that I'm to have patience with wings--willing to wait, but prepared to go. It's almost as if we, as Christians, are asked to be prepared in this season--getting ready to take flight throughout the world, but having patience until then. All of the things that burden your heart and you've talked to Jesus about over and over again...Shhh. Patience. Have patience with wings. My heart leans in expectancy--dry, hungry, but expectant. Wisdom is patient. Love is patient. Love waits, but is assured. Be assured in LOVE.
